Ms Emem Ekanem BSc Hons, Executive Master, MSc

PhD Candidate

Prior to joining University of Greenwich in 2019 for her MPhil/PhD, Emem was a lecturer in Mass Communication at the Akwa Ibom State University for 6 years. Prior to her PhD studies, she completed MSc in International Human Resource Management at the University of Greenwich, an executive master's in project management from the Project Management college London and a BSc in Communication Arts at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom in Nigeria.  Her research interest is in equality, diversity and inclusion in the Nigerian Police force and other organisational communication, change or transformation.

Emem's research interest in equality, diversity and inclusion drives her PhD thesis in Gender inequality and Career progression of female officers in the Nigeria Police Force.
