Mr Sylvester Mujakperuo joined the University of Greenwich in March 2021 as a Teaching Fellow in International Business. Previously, Mr Mujakperuo was a Business Lecturer at the University of Brighton. He has a BSc Hons in Economics from the Nigerian Defence Academy and an MBA in International Business from Birmingham City University. He is currently working towards a Doctorate in Business at the University of Brighton.

Sylvester has 10 years managerial experience in the areas of finance and investments within the Nigerian Army Finance Corps. He is an industrialist and an award-winning entrepreneur with vast international trade experience with several countries. He provides Business mentorship and consultancy services to well over 60 SMES and upcoming entrepreneurs across Africa.

Research / Scholarly interests

Sylvester Mujakperuo is interested in International Business research particularly within the areas of internationalisation and growth of SMES in emerging and developed economies. Other areas of interest include the roles of networks and resources in internationalisation and cross-country comparative studies on emerging market equities.
