Key details
Vo Cong Nghia
PhD researcher
My PhD research investigates the misuse of online reviews and the emergence of review-based threatening behaviour in the hospitality industry. My research interests include online reviews and electronic word-of-mouth, digital platform governance, customer–business power dynamics, consumer misconduct, and hospitality management.
Prior to starting my PhD, I gained five years of teaching experience at Greenwich Vietnam, specialising in business management, marketing, digital marketing, and research methods. Alongside my academic career, I am the owner and operator of a hotel chain comprising approximately 300 rooms in Da Nang, Vietnam. This combination of academic and industry experience has shaped my interest in the challenges that hotels face when managing online reviews, customer relationships, and digital platforms.
