Associate professor of Advancing Clinical Practice

Marlon Stiell is Associate Professor of Advancing Clinical Practice at the University of Greenwich's School of Health Sciences. Marlon has been in his current position since 2023, and is programme lead for the MSc Physician Associate.

Marlon has previously been Principal lecturer at the University of Cumbria and senior lecturer at the University of Greenwich leading and teaching on Paramedic, and Nursing programmes, and supervising research projects for pre and post registration students.

Marlon previously worked in the NHS London Ambulance Service as a paramedic for 19 years. He also held the position as an Emergency Care Practitioner, having worked within hospital departments, minor injuries units and General Practice.

He is registered as a Paramedic with the HCPC with research interests in dementia care, emergency medicine, education, simulation, and ethics.
