Dr Ali Jazdarreh
Lecturer in computer science
Dr Ali (SeyedAmirMohsen) Jazdarreh is a Lecturer and Researcher in Computer Science at the University of Greenwich. He holds both a PhD and a Master’s degree in Computer Networking from the university. His doctoral research, conducted in collaboration with industry partners, explored how visitors engage with mobile technologies in tourism environments.
He currently leads several undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including Network Technologies, System Administration and Security, and Database and Web Technologies.
His academic work is informed by extensive industry experience in core banking systems, data warehousing, data mining, data analytics, and software development.
He also has teaching and practical experience in Machine Learning, particularly in data pre-processing, model selection, and performance evaluation. His current research interests focus on applying machine learning techniques to challenges in networking, data analytics, and intelligent systems.
