Linda Brownlow joined the University of Greenwich in January 2014. She joined the University from the Metropolitan Police where she was previously Head of Crime Scene Training at their Crime Academy at Hendon. A qualified Crime Scene Examiner and ACPO registered Fingerprint Expert with twenty years' experience; Linda holds an MSc In Crime Science from University College London and is a respected lecturer and practitioner in the field of Forensic Science. She sits on the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences Educational Accreditation Committee and is a qualified Project Manager and Workplace Mediator.

Nationally Registered (ACPO) Fingerprint Expert and Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Previous Advisor for Skills for Justice Advisory Group (Skillsmark), Member of the ACPO Forensic Science Competency Programme Board and the ACPO National Forensic Science Training and Standards Group.

Research / Scholarly interests

Linda's interests evolve around all things Forensic, but her particular focus lies in Fingerprint and Crime Scene evidence identification and this is where she hopes to focus her future research activity.
