Claire Green

Director, Green Thompson

Claire first took up rugby while a student at Greenwich and played for the university team. This led to playing all three years in a row for England Students.

Progressing through the England ranks, she featured in the 1998 World Cup squad and went on to play for England until 2005.

A formidable operator in the second row engine room, Claire won 35 international caps and played for Saracens and Wasps at club level.

In tandem with her rugby commitments, Claire built a successful career in IT recruitment and co-founded Green Thompson Consulting.

She is also an investor and consultant with Railsbank, a technology platform that connects fintech companies to a global network of banks.
