About our Awards

Now in our 3rd year our Staff Awards are a key moment in our calendar. This year our awards ceremony will be taking place at Medway and we hope you can join us.

This is Our Time Staff Awards 2023 is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate your hard work and commitment to our students and each other.  We want everyone to celebrate and have a fantastic time at our events which are all about you!

About our Staff Awards Ceremony and Celebration Events

This year, we will have our Staff Awards Ceremony at Medway, and 3 celebration events across all campuses at Medway, Avery Hill and Greenwich.

Terms and conditions

  • All staff on contracts (including short term, fixed term and permanent) are eligible to make a nomination, as well as receive one. Students are not able to make a nomination unless they are also a staff member.
  • Nominations should be linked to one of the award categories. The University reserves the right to move a nomination to another category if appropriate.
  • Nominations are not anonymous. The nominee(s) may be made aware of any submission made on their behalf. They may be contacted in order to provide additional information and validate information put forward.
  • The University reserves the right to publicise the results.
  • All staff are invited to attend the event, you do not have to be a nominee or nominator to attend. The event is only for our staff and any plus one for the Partner of the Year nominees. The event is a celebration and a thank you for all staff.
