Health and Education Careers fairs attract over 400 final year students

careers fair

Last week, the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences hosted two major events: the School of Health’s first careers fair for third‑year students and the annual School of Education Careers Fair.

The Health Fair welcomed over 250 students, who met with hospitals, NHS trusts, graduate recruiters and organisations from across London and beyond, including the Royal Air Force and Healthcare Australia. The Education Fair drew in over 200 students, giving attendees the chance to speak with schools, local authorities, unions and teaching agencies about roles, training routes and professional life post-graduation.

Exhibitors at both events reported meaningful conversations with highly engaged students, while students valued the opportunity to speak directly with employers and explore their next steps.

Faculty staff also used the fairs to reconnect with partners, discuss ongoing collaborations and explore future opportunities such as CPD provision and placement options for University of Greenwich students.

Both fairs featured a “guess the sweets in the jar” competition, with winners taking home a Greenwich hoodie and the giant jar of sweets (188 for Health, 173 for Education for those of you who guessed and are wondering how close you got!). Students also enjoyed popcorn, a Class of 2026 photo booth and mini polaroid keepsakes. Health students rounded off the day with pizza to celebrate their achievements.

Huge thanks to all our fantastic partners for supporting our students. We’re already excited for next year!
