Worktribe post-award: training now underway

Training for Worktribe post-award is now underway, marking an important step in preparing colleagues for the launch of the new post-award module. Make sure you’ve booked your space.

If you are a researcher using Worktribe, please make sure you attend the relevant training sessions and take time to review the supporting guidance materials before your session. This will help you build confidence with the new processes and get the most from the training.

If you have not yet booked onto a session, please visit the training page and enrol on the training most relevant to your responsibilities.

Training materials now available

Worktribe Post-award handbooks are now available on Horizon and provide step-by-step guidance to help you prepare for training and understand how the new system will support your role.

Training has been designed so you can focus on the tasks and processes most relevant to your role

  • Principal Investigators (PIs) will learn how to manage common Post-award activities, including virements, supplements, extensions and project adjustments.
  • Finance colleagues will explore budget review processes and amendment responsibilities within Worktribe.
  • Approvers will learn about key checks, approvals and how to find the information needed to make decisions.

Progress towards the Outputs module

Alongside training, work continues across the project to prepare for future module releases. This includes progress within the Outputs workstream. As part of this work, we are planning for the future decommissioning of GALA. Any work already in GALA will be imported into Worktribe. We’ll share more information about what this will mean for you, key dates, and any actions required as the project progresses.
