Staff from the Enterprise Hub based in the Cooper Powerhouse at the University of Greenwich have met some of the area's best business talent at the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2020.

At the ceremony, held at the InterContinental London at the O2, camera technology business Mo-Sys Engineering won the Made in Greenwich award, sponsored by the university.

Rosemary Nunn, Head of Commercialisation & Innovation at Greenwich, said: "It was a great event and it was extra special to see the winners of the category we sponsored go on to be the overall winners.

"More widely it was a good chance to network and make connections with some of the area's businesses for further collaboration."

Mo-Sys Engineering is a small business that designs and builds versatile camera technology for the film and broadcast industry.

Their virtual production and robotic systems have been integral to Oscar-winning films such as the ground-breaking Gravity and their technology is used by industry giants such as the BBC, Warner Bros and Disney.

Earlier this week some of the university's business students toured the area's entrepreneurial hubs. As part of London Venture Crawl, 15 universities in a fleet of 10 buses explored the capital's top innovation hubs and workspaces for new business ideas in the city.
