Accessing our virtual campus services

This update provides information on how you can access our Student Centre, Student Wellbeing, Academic Support and IT Service Desk services.

Student Centres

Students can email StudentCentre@gre.ac.uk or call 0208 331 8272, between 10am to 4pm with queries.  The Student Centre team will be monitoring emails and staffing the phones Monday to Friday, to answer your query  or signpost you to the best team.  

For specific queries relating to Student Finance, please email StudentFinance@gre.ac.uk or if your query is about Student Accommodation and oue halls of residence, please email the relevant office: 

Please note: you will not be able to submit an Academic Appeal or Formal Complaint form to our Student Centres.  These forms and documentary evidence should be scanned and submitted, in Microsoft Word or PDF format, to:

Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing offers support through three teams: Counselling, Mental Health, and Disability & Dyslexia.  These teams are operating remotely but still providing the same level of service as before.

Their opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and they can be contacted as follows:

Academic Support

Academic Support is now only available online.  You can access an increasing number of ebooks and academic journals via LibrarySearch.  

Remember:

  • you don't need to visit the library to return your books, all loans have been extended until 4 May.  Books can be returned at a later date.
  • you don't need to visit the library to access Academic Support or other Enquiry services, all of our services are available online.

IT Service Desk

Our virtual service is already responding to a large number of queries from students and staff.  Please help us by checking our guidance, which is being updated regularly, before you call us.  You can find the pages below:

If you need to raise a call with the IT Service Desk please send your requests by email to ITServiceDesk@greenwich.ac.uk, this service is open between 8am and 6pm.

Please note:

  • A remote phone service is available, but please continue to email requests as it allows the speediest method of triage.
  • We will have a live chat service available later this week.
