Avery Hill is hosting a Coronavirus local testing site

TLDRoffon

A walk-in coronavirus testing facility is opening on our Avery Hill campus. Access is from Avery Hill Road and there are strict rules for people attending the test centre.

It is provided by the Department of Health and Social Care, facilitated by the Royal Borough of Greenwich who we continue to work closely with.

People attending an appointment, which are organised through NHS Test and Trace, at the walk-through testing will be provided with clear guidance on how to get to and from the testing site safely.  The health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff continues to be our priority.

The testing centre is sited next to the tennis courts and access is from Avery Hill Road, the opening times are 8am to 8pm daily.  Everyone who attends the testing centre must follow strict rules and there will be clear signage.

We are committed to help beat Covid-19

Our university is committed in playing our part in the national effort to tackle this virus; having on-site testing facilities at Avery Hill and Medway campuses is part of how we are doing this.  We have also recently hosted a mobile testing unit on our Greenwich campus to support our university community.

If you are concerned about your vulnerability to Covid-19 we encourage you to complete the Covid-vulnerability questionnaire and discuss any concerns with your faculty team (students) or line manager (staff).  You can find the questionnaires:
