Our work is shaped by the University’s strategic plan: putting students first, removing barriers, promoting wellbeing and running awareness and support campaigns. We do this in many ways including:
- The Big Welcome – Led by our team in collaboration with the Student Union and teams across the University, this is your introduction to the University. With the Welcome Team on hand, we’ll help you settle in or return to your studies, meet new people, and find out everything you need to know throughout your first Semester. Find out more here.
- Telephone team– Our Welcome Team call new students to guide you through registration, answer questions, and signpost you to services, making sure you feel confident and supported as you start your journey at Greenwich.
- Mentor Mates – Our peer mentoring platform, when you can be matched with a student mentor who understands the student journey. Our trained student mentors are here to help, offering a friendly ear, practical advice, and insights from their own university experience to help you feel more at ease. Find out more here.
- Cost of Living Support - including free sanitary products on campus and Community Meals for the students who need them most. Find out more here.
- Commuter Student Support – in collaboration with the Student Retention Team and the Student Finance Team, we bring together the support available for Commuter Students at the University and run Commuter networking events.
