If you're currently running a business or social enterprise, you can apply for a Generator Bursary – a grant of up to £1250, generously funded by Santander, to help your business to grow.  You must be a current student or a graduate of the University of Greenwich (up to two years out) to apply.

The bursaries should be used to fund new activity or equipment to help your business or social enterprise to accelerate growth. Eligible costs might include the following:

  • Equipment to help you to scale up production.
  • New product development costs.
  • Legal costs, for example, patent costs.
  • Marketing spend on a new campaign to reach a new audience.
  • Development costs for a new online presence.

Running costs, such as salaries or purchase of stock are not eligible.

Please note: this opportunity is only available for UK trading businesses.

How to apply

Applications for this year's Generator Bursary are now closed and will open again in the next academic year.
