Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

A part-funded government scheme that can help your company to engage with the university on a project to help foster innovation and stimulate business growth.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) can address a specific strategic issue in your business, such as developing a new product, improving a business process or embedding skills. A recent graduate and an academic advisor will work specifically on the task of bringing a new capability into the business. This should ensure that it is fully embedded and works for everyone in the organisation.

Collaborations between academic institutions and business are beneficial to all partners. They enable the transfer of expert know-how and skills into your company while providing applicable, on the job experience to the graduate.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership can benefit any size of company, from SMEs to multinationals.
