Take a guided tour of our campuses and accommodation and find out from our students what it's like to live and study at the University of Greenwich.

How our tours work

Our friendly Student Ambassadors give guided tours of each campus. Tours depart every 30 minutes. For more information on the campus and accommodation tour schedule, be sure to check our Open Day Schedule.

Greenwich Campus Tours

Greenwich is a world heritage site, so don't miss the opportunity of a campus tour. Our Ambassadors will take you from our brand-new Dreadnought building, through the historical Queen Anne and King William buildings and end the tour at our Stockwell Street Library. On the way, you will pass the recently renovated Painted Hall and the Greenwich Chapel, as well as the Greenwich town centre.

Avery Hill Campus Tours

Our Avery Hill Campus covers two sites, Southwood and Mansion. Both are located in the 86-acre Avery Hill Park in Eltham, South-East London. Only a short walk apart, these two Victorian sites house teaching and library facilities, student accommodation, the student's union, catering and sports facilities. Our student ambassadors will show you all the key features of both sites, and also give you a tour of our skills labs.

Medway Campus Tours

The Medway Campus is a splendid Edwardian redbrick and ivy-clad campus, dating from 1903, located near Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent. Tours include the teaching and learning facilities as well as the impressive student amenities found there. The campus boasts a mix of social and leisure facilities, including our Students Union Hub, a restaurant in Pembroke building and the Venue café in Pilkington.

Accommodation Tours

All tours include a look inside the halls of residence to be found at that campus. At Greenwich, this is Daniel Defoe or Cutty Sark halls. At Avery Hill this is our student village, which accommodates over 1,200 students. At Medway, we have a total of 350 rooms in shared self-catering flats situated within five halls and the tour includes a look at life inside these.
