For schools and colleges

Taster Days

Our range of Taster Days offer students a real taste of a subject they enjoy and are contemplating studying at university

Give your students a real taste of a subject they enjoy and are interested in studying at university.

Through our range of subject-specific Taster Days students, in year 12 and 13, or FE year 1 and 2, can get a real taste of a subject they enjoy and are contemplating studying at university.

Attending a Taster Day allows students to learn more about their subject of choice through a sample lecture and to gain an insight into studying at university through a practical session delivered by University of Greenwich academics.

Included in the visit is an overview of entry requirements and other relevant information about the application process.

It has given me a really good insight into what it takes to go to university.

Student, English Taster Day

I have attended a few specialised 'tasters' now over the years and I think today has got to have been one of the best!

Careers Strategy

The Government's Careers Strategy uses the Gatsby Benchmarks to set out a range of requirements that schools and colleges must meet. We have matched all of our activities to these, and this activity can support you with meeting benchmark 2, 4 and 7.

Booking information

We accept individual bookings from students in Year 12 and 13, and FE Year 1 and 2 students, as well as group bookings from teachers and careers advisors.
