We are a friendly and welcoming community where international students make up around 30% of our student population. So, whichever campus you are on, you’ll soon feel at home. Plus, all our student accommodation is open to international students.

We’ll be by your side with whatever you need, ensuring that you’re cared for and supported while you’re a student with us. If you’re eligible, you can apply for a scholarship or bursary, contributing up to £5000 towards your tuition. You could also earn money by taking on part-time work at the university through our Student Ambassador Scheme.

Entry requirements

Academic entry requirements

  • STPM with a relevant UCAS tariff points/Senior Middle Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum pass average of 60%

Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history. Please contact the International Office for more information.

For some courses, you will need to have studied relevant subjects at school/college to be eligible. Our admissions team will determine this once you apply.

English language entry requirements

SPM English grade A-C/CEFR B2 or UEC English grade A1-C8 or 1119 English Grade C or Malaysia University English Test (MUET) Band 4 or better, can be considered for IELTS exemption

Academic entry requirements

For entry to our Master's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • 2:2 equivalent: Pass 3 year degree or MAR/TAR (3 years post STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or above
  • 2:1 equivalent: Pass 3 year degree or MAR/TAR (3 years post STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.7 or above

For some courses, you will need to have studied relevant subjects at university to be eligible. Our admissions team will determine this once you apply.

English language entry requirements
