Who we are

University of Greenwich International College is an embedded college of University of Greenwich offering an exciting range of programmes for international students. University of Greenwich International College delivers the first stages of the International Incorporated Bachelors degree and the International Incorporated Masters degree.

Located at the beautiful Devonport House, the college is set on the main University of Greenwich campus, a renowned world heritage site which is often used as film sets, so don't be surprised if you see a few famous faces around the campus.

What you can do

International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB)

The IIB allows students to study a foundation year in a wide range of academic subjects which once successfully completed lead onto their chosen undergraduate degree with University of Greenwich.

International Year Zero (IYZ)

This programme is the first year of the four year International Incorporated Bachelors. Your first year is taught at University of Greenwich International College. Once you successfully complete this year, you will continue studying the remaining stages of your degree directly with University of Greenwich. 

You can choose to study one of the following five routes:

International Year One (IY1)

The International Year One (IY1) provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills. The IFY is the first year of the three year International Incorporated Bachelor's (IIB) degree. Upon successful completion of the IFY, you will continue to the second year of your chosen degree at study at University of Greenwich.

You can choose to study one of the following two routes:

International Incorporated Masters (IIM)

The International Incorporated Master's (IIM) programme focuses on equipping you with the business-related subject knowledge and the advanced study and English language skills you need to complete your postgraduate study at University of Greenwich. This programme is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the Masters programmes at University of Greenwich.

You can study:

Pre-sessional English 

University of Greenwich International College is there to support you every step of the way in achieving academic success and offer Pre-sessional English courses. If you do not meet the IELTs requirements for the programme you wish to study there are 6 week or 12 week options available which can be taken immediately before you enter your chosen IYZ, IYF or IIM programme: 

  • 6 Week Pre-sessional English for students at IELTS 5.0 (with no skill below 4.5) 
  • 12 Week Pre-sessional English for students at IELTS 4.5 (with no skill below 4.0) 


Only 6 week pre-sessional English available for intake September 2018 which starts in July 2018.

On Campus accommodation for University of Greenwich International College students is limited and it is essential that you contact your local representative for more information at the time of application. Our staff are available to support you in finding accommodation including off campus options.
