This workstream focuses on how we connect and engage with our staff, students, and external stakeholders. Our role is to make sure senior leadership is visible and that people have opportunities to meet each other, engage, be heard and included at every stage of the merger.

LASE Fest is coming
LASE Fest is fast approaching and excitement is building as colleagues behind every showcase, stall and tour prepare to give you a glimpse into the incredible work they’ve been doing.
LASE Fest isn’t your traditional conference. With the freedom to shape your day and explore topics and engage in activities that matter most to you.

Get ready to take part
Here’s how you can get ready to make the most of the day:
Register – places are filling fast and you must register to attend if you haven’t already, by Friday 28 August. Simply click on the link in the invitation email you received to register. We’re close to capacity so please act now.
Download the event App – the App is your in-depth guide to the day including the programme, venue information and important updates – it will be your companion throughout the day. It’s quick and easy to download by clicking on the link in the joining instructions email when you receive it.

Shape your day – there’s lots happening on the day so take some time using the App beforehand to see what’s on, when and where.
We want you to build the day around what interests you most. Save time by using the App to select your showcases and sessions in advance. It will also help you secure your first choice. Some sessions have limited numbers, so use the App to make your choices as soon as possible.

Submit a session question in advance
One session you’ll want to attend is ‘In conversation with the new Senior Executive Team’ chaired by Vice-Chancellor and CEO Professor Jane Harrington.
We'd like this session to be shaped by the questions that matter most to you, so please submit them using the App or send them to lasefest@engagement.kent ac.uk
The deadline for submitting questions is end of day on Friday 4 September.
Photography and filming at LASE Fest
Please be aware that photography and filming will take place throughout LASE Fest, and content captured may be used across London and South East University Group communications and social media channels.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of the event team know when you arrive at registration. You will be given a clear identifier so that our Content and Social Team can take this into account when filming and photographing throughout the event.
The Kent Content and Social Team will be identifiable by their Kent Content and Social Team polos and will be happy to answer any questions.

If your plans change and you can no longer make the event, please let us know by emailing lasefest@engagement.kent.ac.uk or using the “Unregister” button in your confirmation email.
