The Institute of Political Economy, Governance, Finance and Accountability (PEGFA) proudly presents its Research Seminar Series 2024.

The following dates are confirmed:

  • 30th January - 1pm in HH102
    • Dr Tippet will present "Finding fortunes: A new methodology to estimate missing wealth in survey data".
    • Pavlo Ulianiuk will present "The evolution of corporate attention: Evidence from UK public companies, 2000-2016".
  • 15th February - 5pm in QA369
    • Dr Xianmin will be presenting "Green innovation and cross-border M&As: Evidence from China".
    • Ines Heck will be discussing recent research.
  • 27th February - 1pm in SL007
    • Jose Alejandro Coronado Arciniegas will talk about "Information-Constrained Models for Ultimatum Bargaining".
    • Menatulla Mohamed will be discussing "The impact of non-executive female directors on CSR decoupling".
  • 14th March - 5pm in QM369
    • Dr Solomon will present "The Effect of Higher Education Providers’ Knowledge Creation, Knowledge transfer, and Entrepreneurial Activities on the UK’s Regional Productivity".
    • Pedro Siqueira Machado will be discussing "The current state of the Sraffian Monetary Theories of Distribution, tensions and possible resolutions".
  • 26th March - 1pm in HH102
    • Dr Arrieta Paredes will be presenting "ESG financing, reputation and Government Policies in British SMEs: Why does firmographics matter?".
    • Dr Nikolaidi will discuss  "Environmental regulation, macrofinancial stability and climate policy mixes".
