Stella Seidu
PGRTA
Stella joined the University of Greenwich in 2022 to pursue a PhD in Education. Her academic journey began in Nigeria, where she completed her early education and a BA in Education, before moving to the UK to study for a Master’s in Education Leadership at Roehampton University.
Her research focuses on leadership and resilience in the workplace, with a particular emphasis on how race, gender and class intersect to shape these dynamics. Alongside her doctoral studies, Stella has worked in schools and early years education settings, and has also gained extensive experience in training and consultancy within the early years sector.”

Research / Scholarly interests
Stella’s research interests centre on qualitative inquiry into the lived experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic women working in early years education. She focuses on themes of leadership and resilience, emotional well-being, intersectionality, equality, identity, diversity and inclusion.
