Alison Saridogan is a Senior Lecturer of Dance and Physical Education in the School of Education at the University of Greenwich.

Alison has taught Dance in schools across London, Northamptonshire and New York, including many youth dance groups and while studying for her MA in New York, performed and choreographed for a dance and theatre education company. Alison has provided in-service training in dance for both primary and secondary teachers. In addition to her teaching at Greenwich, she has taught dance and physical education for trainee teachers at the University of Cumbria, Goldsmiths and The Institute of Education.

Alison is course leader of dance on a wide range of courses from Level 4 to Level 7 and contributes to the Dance element within the Physical Education (PE) courses of the Primary Education programme.

She spent four years on the executive committee of the National Dance Teachers Association. This role involved making a contribution to curriculum development, producing resources and lobbying decision makers. 

Alison is currently governor at a school in the borough of Bexley and chairs the Curriculum and Pupil Progress sub-committee. She is also on the board of directors at a Tennis Club in the borough of Greenwich, a role with special responsibility for the Jack Petchey Award Scheme for young people. In January 2016, she was presented with the 'Outstanding Leader Award' for her work with young people in tennis.

Alison is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
