Dr Vanessa Fortune
Research Fellow
Vanessa Fortune joined the Institute of Lifecourse Development as a Research Fellow in September 2021. She received her PhD in Psychology from University of Greenwich in January 2021.
She has a background in Sociology and Social Psychology. She has also worked in the third sector for a decade in bid writing, research and programme development roles.

Research / Scholarly interests
Vanessa’s research interests include overarching themes of social inclusion, equality and gender. With a focus on grassroots/community interventions and the role of sport in society.
