Robyn Park
Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy
Robyn is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with over a decade of clinical experience. She joined the School of Health Sciences as a Lecturer in June 2025, bringing with her a wealth of expertise from both frontline practice and leadership roles. Robyn’s professional background spans a range of specialist settings, including forensic mental health and learning disabilities. She has worked extensively with children and young people with learning disabilities and autism in both school and college environments. Most recently, her focus has been on supporting young people experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Robyn’s clinical interests lie in particularly in Trauma-Informed and Neuroaffirming Practice. Robyn’s work in special school settings particularly highlighted the need for sensory-supportive learning environments, prompting her to pursue further study in Sensory Integration—an area she is keen to continue exploring. Throughout her career, Robyn has delivered professional training on a wide range of topics, reflecting her commitment to knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities within the university
Robyn teaches across several modules, including language and communication development, paediatric speech and language pathology, and the speech and language therapy process in paediatric contexts.
