Accept your offer

You can accept your offer via UCAS or by getting in touch with us directly, depending on how you applied.

Accept via UCAS

Once you're ready to accept your offer, you can do this via UCAS Track.

Accept directly

If you applied directly to us (for a part-time course or a postgraduate course, or because you are based overseas), you'll need to let us know directly by emailing accepts@gre.ac.uk.

When do you have to decide by?

If you've applied via UCAS for an undergraduate course, there is a deadline to make your decision. This is set when your last offer comes in.

  • 19 May 2022 - Uni/college decisions due on applications submitted by 26 January. If you receive your last decision on/before this date, your reply date is 9 June 2022 (except if you're using Extra to find a place).
  • 14 July 2022 - Uni/college decisions due on applications made by 30 June (2022 entry applications received after the 30 June are entered into Clearing). If you receive your last decision on/before this date, your reply date is 21 July 2022 (including Extra).

If you don't select us as a firm or insurance choice by this time, UCAS will automatically reject the offer on your behalf.

Check your deadline on UCAS Track.

What happens if you miss the deadline?

  • You can contact UCAS up to 14 days after your deadline to reverse an automatic decline.
  • After 14 days, you need to reach out to us first, to gain permission for the offer to be accepted. After this, you would need to contact UCAS.
  • However, you will not be able to swap a decision after 26 July 2022.

If this does expire, or you wish to change your mind or make a late application to join us, you can do so via Clearing, which opens on 5 July 2022.
