You can accept your offer via UCAS, via email or by paying a confirmation deposit, depending on how you applied.

Accept via UCAS

Once you're ready to accept your offer, you can do this via your UCAS hub.

Accept directly

If you are a UK student who has applied directly to us or an international student who is sponsored (by your government/company) you can accept your place by emailing us.

Accept via deposit

International students can accept their place by paying a £3000 deposit. However, If you are sponsored by a government or organisation (e.g. US Federal Aid) you can accept directly by following instructions above.

International students who have applied directly or via an education agent have 14 days to accept their offer. Once this 14-day period has passed, we may still be able to accept you however, you will need to ensure we still have space on your programme.

You can check this on our capped course page.

When do you have to decide by?

Applied by UCAS

If you've applied via UCAS for an undergraduate course, there is a deadline to make your decision. This is set when your last offer comes in.

  • 16 May 2024 - Uni/college decisions due on applications submitted by 31 January. If you receive your last decision on/before this date, your reply date is 6 June 2024 (except if you're using Extra to find a place).
  • 17 July 2024 - Uni/college decisions due on applications made by 30 June (2024 entry applications received after the 30 June are entered into Clearing). If you receive your last decision on/before this date, your reply date is 24 July 2024 (including Extra).

If you don't select us as a firm or insurance choice by this time, UCAS will automatically reject the offer on your behalf.

Check your deadline on your UCAS hub.

What happens if you miss the deadline?

  • You can contact UCAS up to 14 days after your deadline to reverse an automatic decline.
  • After 14 days, you need to reach out to us first, to gain permission for the offer to be accepted. After this, you would need to contact UCAS.
  • However, you will not be able to swap a decision after 25 July 2024.

If this does expire, or you wish to change your mind or make a late application to join us, you can do so via Clearing, which opens on 5 July 2024.
