Capped Courses

Due to the high demand for a number of our programmes at the University of Greenwich, our faculties have placed limits on the number of students that can be accepted.

Once you have received an offer to study on a capped course, you will be invited by email to secure your place by paying a deposit.

You can see below if your chosen course remains open for applications or deposits. If the course has closed, you will need to make an application for the next available intake, or defer your offer if you already hold an offer to study with us and did not made your deposit payment before the course closed.

If you hold an offer to study a capped course with us and have not made your deposit payment, you will receive an email from us to confirm that the course has now reached capacity, and options will be provided for you on the next steps to take.

Many of our courses are very popular and some have a limited number of places. Once you have an offer to study, you can secure your place by making a deposit payment.

Currently no programmes are closed for applications or deposits. Please check this page before you make a payment to us as your course may be closed if we have reached capacity.

How do I secure my place?

To secure your place, you must pay a pre-registration deposit of £3,000. Once we receive your deposit, we will reserve your place for your chosen intake.

If your course becomes full before you pay your deposit, we will notify you that the course has closed, and you won’t be able to join us for that intake.

After this point, any payment you make will not secure your place.

How can I pay a deposit?

Find out how to pay a deposit. The deposit payment is non-refundable, apart from in certain circumstances as laid out in our charging and refund policy.
