What identification do you need?

Candidates for courses in education or health will be asked to present an ID document during the interview. Please check below to see if more is required for your course.

Standard ID

During your interview, you will be asked to present a document.

  • Home Applicants (UK born): Current valid passport or UK driving licence (photo card).
  • Home Applicants (non-UK born): Current valid passport or "Travel Document" plus any relevant immigration document (e.g. indefinite leave to remain BRP).
  • EU Applicants: Current valid passport or EU identity card.
  • International Applicants (Non-EU): Current valid passport and current visa.

Your ID must be a valid, in-date, original document in your legal name.

To ensure you meet the relevant professional requirements of the course, we take a screenshot and run an authentication check which is stored against your record. This is held for the appropriate retention period.

Please ensure you have the correct documentation prior to your interview. If you are unable to provide the correct documentation, the interviewer will not be able to continue with your interview.
