APT workshops
APT‑specific workshops are offered throughout the academic year to support targeted programmes at key stages.
- September: Support for programmes preparing for taskforce review
- November–February: Themed workshops focusing on key areas of improvement
Selected programmes will receive direct invitations to attend.
Creating an effective action plan
A strong action plan turns data into focused, achievable improvement actions.
When developing your plan:
- Review your outcomes and understand the data
- Prioritise the most important issues
- Avoid creating actions for every issue
- Focus on actions that will make the greatest impact
Effective actions should be SMART:
- Specific: Clearly define what will happen and who will undertake what
- Measurable: The expected outcomes
- Achievable: Make it realistic for your team and resources
- Relevant: Focus on the issues that matter most
- Time-bound: Include deadlines and review points to monitor progress
Keep plans concise, realistic, and purposeful.
Learning from Good Practice
Programme teams are encouraged to learn from Good Practice Programmes across faculties.
These programmes demonstrate strong performance across key NSS themes, including:

Good Practice case studies and videos are available via the Learning, Teaching and Resource Centre (LTRC).
