As we approach exams and the end of term assessments, it is particularly important to look after your mental health and wellbeing. We recognise that many of you will be taking exams under unusual conditions, and may feel more stress and anxiety throughout this period.
To support you during this time, we are running a series of online workshops on Stress, Anxiety and Sleep, in partnership with Greenwich Time to Talk.
Workshop information
The workshops aim to support students in gaining an understanding of issues which can affect your mental health and wellbeing. The professional facilitators will also cover the ways in which you can identify and learn more about coping skills.
Stress workshop - Thursday 15 April, 2-3pm
To help students improve their understanding of what stress is, and learn about coping mechanisms to manage their own stress.
Anxiety workshop - Wednesday 28 April, 2-3pm
To help students better understand anxiety and worry, and learn how to reduce anxiety and worry through different coping skills.
Sleep workshop - Thursday 13 May, 2-3pm
To help students increase their understanding of what sleep difficulties are and what techniques they can use to help improve their sleep hygiene.
Registration
To register for the workshops, please contact Student Wellbeing Service by email: wellbeing@gre.ac.uk, or by phone: 0208 331 7875.
