In order for you to start one of our programmes, you will need to meet both the academic and English language requirements. Below is a list of our standard entry requirements for most programmes, however, please note that some programmes may have a different entry requirement or require further assessment, such as a portfolio of work or interview. Please see the relevant individual programme page for further details.

Academic Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Degrees (Bachelor's)

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Abitur with minimum 2.0 (Law and Architecture minimum grade 1.8)
  • Grade 12/2 in Abitur English or English language requirements

Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history. Please contact us to check your eligibility.

Postgraduate Degrees (Master's)

For entry to our Master's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Bachelors with minimum Grade 3 for UK 2:2 or with minimum Grade 2 for UK 2:1
  • Grade 12/2 in Abitur English or English language requirements

Pre-sessional English programmes are only available to students that have completed a UKVI IELTS exam. Please visit our Pre-sessional English course page for more information.
