Dr Sarah Jayne Rowe
Clinical Simulation Fellow
Sarah joined the University of Greenwich as a Clinical Simulation Fellow in 2026. Sarah is an occupational therapist and has worked in both higher education and acute NHS hospitals. Sarah’s clinical experience is in a range of acute hospital specialisms including older adults, A&E, acute medicine, orthopaedics and stroke rehabilitation. Sarah previously worked at London South Bank University, where she developed and implemented simulation-based learning within pre-registration occupational therapy programmes.
Sarah’s Doctoral research used ethnography to explore the work readiness of new graduate occupational therapists for acute hospital practice. Sarah is passionate about ensuring healthcare graduates are adequately prepared for contemporary practice and the ways in which simulation can be used to enhance preparedness for entry to the healthcare workforce.
