Our courses

Our nursing degrees offer pre-registration training in adult nursing, children’s nursing, learning disabilities nursing and mental health nursing. We have also recently introduced nursing degree apprenticeships. All courses are taught at the Avery Hill Campus, with Adult Nursing also delivered at both the Avery Hill Campus and the Medway Campus.

The Faculty of Education & Health works closely with charities, local authorities and the NHS. Recent research includes the career barriers facing black and ethnic minority nurses, health inequalities and the experience of vulnerable groups, and care quality in residential care and nursing homes.
