Personal statement
The personal statement (3,950 characters) is an important opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to study by commenting on factors that have not been referred to elsewhere on the application form. Admissions Tutors will be interested in your reasons for applying to study on your chosen programme, your relevant experience, career aspirations and what you hope to achieve from your studies. You should also include information about any hobbies or activities (paid or unpaid) that you have undertaken that are relevant to your application.
Documents required
How long do decisions take?
Application processing times vary by course and the volume of applications received. While many applicants receive a decision within four weeks of submitting a complete application, some applications may take longer where additional information, supporting documents, further academic review is required, or during particularly busy periods. To help avoid delays, please read the entry requirements carefully and ensure all required supporting documents are submitted with your application. We will contact you if we need any further information to support our assessment.
Where can I get further guidance?
We recommend attending one of our events which run both on campus and virtually where we will have staff available to support you. Alternatively, you can get in touch via phone or our contact form.
I’m interested in an MRES qualification. How do I apply?
If you're interested in an MRES qualification then we ask that you apply via our online application form.
