Reporting to the Student Success Board, the Learning, Quality and Regulations Committee is responsible for supporting the Board in the implementation of the University's Student Success sub-strategy. It develops and reviews regulations, policies, procedures and good practice related to educational quality and standards (except where these are delegated to other Boards covering Partnerships, Programmes and Research), ensuring that these comply with regulatory requirements and sector good practice. It also assists the Board in overseeing the quality and standards of educational provision in Faculties and advises the Board on whether the University is achieving the requirements of external quality assurance bodies such as the Office for Students, the Quality Assurance Agency and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies.
