We know that exam time can be quite stressful for everyone and, now more than ever, it is important to manage your wellbeing and look after your mental health. We recognise that many of you will be taking exams under unusual conditions, and may feel more stressed and anxious throughout this period.
Managing stress and wellbeing
The GSU StressBusters site includes events and activities running throughout the exam period to help manage stress and your overall mental health. You will find Mindfulness Monday workshops and online meditations, and virtual HIIT and yoga sessions running throughout the exam period.
The GKSU also have take-home craft kits available at Medway, which you can collect and complete in your own time, including aromatherapy, create your own face masks, and colouring in kits. Check the collection dates here.
You can also try some of our Tips for managing exam stress to help you prepare in the lead up to your exams – there are some simple tips for revision and relaxation techniques to give your mind a break.
Exam tips and resources
There is really no ‘right’ way to revise for exams, as different techniques work for different students. The GSU have provided some great tips for preparing and making your exams go as smoothly as possible on the Exam Tips page and they answer your questions in these Exams, Assessments and No Detriment videos.
You can also find advice and information about how to avoid Assignment Writing Services and Understanding Plagiarism to help you to be aware during the exam and assessment period.
There are more links to our exam resources on the Practical help for the exam period page and you can find answers to your questions in our Examination FAQs.
