Nominations are sought for the award of honorary degrees of the University of Greenwich. The University confers three types of honorary awards at its graduation ceremonies.

Nominations are sought for the award of honorary degrees of the University of Greenwich. The University confers three types of honorary awards at its graduation ceremonies. 

The three types of degree are: 

* Honorary Doctorates, appropriate for those who have made a major contribution at national and/or international level; 

* Honorary Master's Degrees, appropriate for those who have made a major contribution in a particular region or locality 

* Honorary Bachelor's Degrees in recognition of the achievement of awards of comparable standing. 

These awards provide an opportunity for the University to honour outstanding individuals who have contributed to the work of the University or have earned distinction in some other field. 

Nominations should be submitted by completing the University's nomination form (see below) and returning it to the University Secretary by post or email to the address indicated on the form by 1700 on Friday, 1 November 2019. Self-nominations, late nominations and nominations not submitted using the form will not be accepted.
