Partner School and College Scholarship - Uni Toolkit (£1,000)
This is a £1,000 cash bursary paid in your first year of study to students from our local school and college network who have engaged with our outreach programme, specifically our University Toolkit workshops, before joining the university.
This scholarship is designed to support progression to higher education and recognises the benefits of engaging with preparation activities and university support teams before your course begins.
Additional criteria:
- You must have participated in one of our outreach workshops in addition to a campus visit (open day or applicant day). Activities do not need to have been completed before the UCAS ‘equal consideration’ deadline to be eligible.
This scholarship is awarded automatically. Where many students are eligible, priority will be given to those from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education e.g., POLAR 4 Q1 (areas of low participation) which is identified by postcode. Where there are more eligible students from POLAR 4 Q1 backgrounds than scholarships, students will be asked to apply.
Further information about this scholarship can be found here.
