A full programme of activities designed to support your school or college in meeting the requirements of the Government's Careers Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks.
Our Outreach and Educational Partnerships Team have designed a series of workshops to support your students in developing key skills relevant to their academic learning and to help transition to their next steps.
Participation in these workshops also enables students to be eligible for our GREat Skills Scholarship, a £2000 cash scholarship in their first year of study. Further eligibility criteria applies.
What can I book?
These packages fall into 3 separate categories:
Higher Education Packages | Interactive workshops to support students with their preparations for their journey into higher education or future studies, focusing on exploring your post-school options and how to navigate the UCAS timeline. |

Degree Apprenticeships Package | We also offer specific workshops to help students through the process of applying for a degree apprenticeship, from initial course research to developing employability skills. These workshops are also structured to help schools/colleges meet the Baker Clause. |
GREat Skills Packages | The GREat Skills programme consists of workshops focusing on personal, transferrable, and academic skills. These are ideal for students currently completing independent projects (e.g. the Extended Project Qualification) or hoping to develop certain skills for the next stage of their education/career. |
Subject Specific Packages | Provides an overview of courses available, placement information, career pathways, and so on, from each of our faculties: Faculty of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Greenwich Business School. Also includes interactive workshops to develop skills that will help students flourish in their chosen subject area. |
Supporting your Benchmarks
Our Outreach Workshop Packages have been been designed to:
- support your school or college in meeting the requirements of the Government's Careers Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks
- reinforces core British Values in the classroom, including mutual respect and individual choice in your own future.
- inform and inspire your students as they progress throughout their Level 3 course and make higher education choices
- be used as a standalone HE progression scheme of work or be incorporated into your existing offer.
Booking information
You can select your ideal workshop package from the drop-down menu on our booking form. If you have any queries, please email our team at outreach@gre.ac.uk.
Workshop Packages are targeted to those schools and colleges which form our key institutions.
If your school or college is not listed, please still do contact us as we may be able to accommodate your request, or other alternative resources.
After you've booked
After you have sent your booking form to us with your desired workshop package, please allow 3-5 business days for our team to respond. Your school/college will then be assigned a key contact within the Outreach & Educational Partnerships team, who will then be in touch to book your workshops.
Once we have agreed on: ideal dates/times, group size, delivery method and any additional requirements (e.g. accessibility), we will book in your workshops that same day, followed up by a confirmation email.
