Early years studies

Create a better future for the next generation using the skills and practical experience you gain from our early years degree courses.

Study Early Years at Greenwich

Our early years degree will give you an understanding of the core values of the early years workforce.

Our courses

Our early years degrees include work placements which will give you the practical skills required to progress through your career. The extended degrees with a foundation year will prepare you for degree-level study.

Communities and societies

Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.

Research and partnerships

Our academics are researching a number of areas including the history of childhood, children’s health, multicultural toys, play and identity, youth and education.

The Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD)

Our new institute will support internationally leading research and practice in Education, Health and the Human Sciences, and will build on the strengths across the university and wider community.
