All have en suite rooms with a communal living area and kitchen and plenty of room for storage. All of the Medway halls offer the same facilities but Adelaide, Forte and Sunne Houses have a more modern feel.

If you prefer the privacy of your own bathroom facilities then our en suite rooms offer plenty of space for study and storage, with a communal living area and kitchen. Although all the amenities in the Medway Halls are the same, Adelaide, Forte and Sunne Houses were built after Merlin and Wolfe and have a more modern feel.

Medway Accommodation Discount 2026/2027
The University of Greenwich offers a £1,000 Medway Accommodation Discount. To be eligible, you must be a first-year, full-time undergraduate student living in University of Greenwich accommodation at Medway for the first time during the 2026/27 academic year.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Greenwich Medway Accommodation Discount, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- You are a fully registered student on a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Greenwich in the 2026/27 academic year.
- You are a September 2026 starter at the University of Greenwich in the 2026/27 academic year and start your accommodation licence period with us no later than the 9th October 2026.
- You are studying a BA, BEd, BSc, LLB, BEng, MEng or MMath course at the University of Greenwich
- You are a new entry student in the 2026/27 academic year (Year 0 or Year 1) on your programme of study, and this is your first time living in University of Greenwich accommodation at Medway
- You are living in University of Greenwich accommodation at Medway
- You are assessed to pay tuition fees at the Home or International fee rate
- You are studying at one of the University of Greenwich campuses at Avery Hill, Greenwich, or Medway only.
Ongoing Eligibility
To remain eligible for the discount, you must:
- Stay in your University of Greenwich Medway accommodation for the full license period.
- Remain a fully registered full-time undergraduate student at the University of Greenwich for the full license period.
- Have no outstanding accommodation fee arrears.
- If a student withdraws from their programme, interrupts their studies, or transfers to another accommodation, any accommodation discount awarded under this scheme will be forfeited. Eligibility for the discount is contingent upon the student maintaining their qualifying registration status.
Important Information
- Students who transfer to accommodation at one of the University’s other sites or who do not remain in their University of Greenwich Medway accommodation for the duration of their full licence period will not be eligible for the Discount.
- The discount is available only in your first year of study at the University of Greenwich.
- The discount is only available in the 2026/27 academic year.
- The Greenwich Medway Accommodation Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other University of Greenwich accommodation bursary or discount.
- Summer accommodation is not eligible for the Medway Accommodation Discount.

Studying at Medway School of Pharmacy?
MPharm students can apply to live in either University of Greenwich Medway Halls or the Pier Quays Halls at the University of Kent. If your preferred hall is not available, you are automatically referred to the other university for a room (subject to availability).
The Pier Quays self-catered accommodation offers en-suite rooms in flats housing 5-8 students with a spacious shared kitchen and purpose-built social spaces. There are a range of shops on site to help you feel at home.
