Our courses

In addition to a full-time law degree, we offer a degree for non-law graduates, a law degree with a year abroad, and an extended degree with a foundation year; graduates can complete their law degree at Greenwich and, in just 15 extra months, earn a US JD or LLM degree through our partnership with Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Minnesota, USA.

Innocence Project London

The Innocence Project London (IPL) is a law clinic and registered charity based at the University of Greenwich.

Communities and societies

Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.

Free legal advice

Trained student advisers work closely with volunteer lawyers to provide free legal advice to members of the public and small businesses.

Research and partnerships

Our research covers a range of legal areas, including maritime governance.

Centre for Transformative and Global Justice

The Centre for Transformative and Global Justice is an interdisciplinary research centre that conducts research, analysis and activism on Human Rights issues, governance practice, environmental challenges and Criminal Justice systems.
