Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor’s Group, the Health, Safety, Sustainability and Wellbeing Board (HSSWB) is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all employees and students in accordance with all relevant legislation and regulation. It oversees the development and implementation of the University’s strategic approaches to wellbeing, sustainability and safeguarding, and operates as the University’s Health & Safety Committee, providing a forum for consultation with students and staff.

HSSWB is supported by the following sub-committees:
HSSWB is also supported by Faculty and Directorate Health and Safety Committees, which are responsible for overseeing the implementation of the University’s Health and Safety Policy and procedures in their area.
