Our Centre brings together researchers and practitioners united by one common interest, healthcare and education workers, workforces, systems, and the programmes within them. Our goal is to focus on questions and issues related to the healthcare and education workforce. Within healthcare and education, much research is focused on patients and those being educated. However, we believe that the systems that people are cared for and educated in, the programmes developed, and the people working in them need just as much attention to ensure patients and students get the healthcare and education they deserve, and that workers are motivated and satisfied in their roles. We therefore focus on issues related to the below themes.
Associated disciplines
Explore the university's research in related fields.
Allied health professions, dentistry, nursing and pharmacy
Health research at Greenwich brings together cross-disciplinary researchers, practitioners, and partners that focus on activities related to vulnerable populations across the lifecourse, with the ultimate aim of translating and applying the research conducted into professional practice and policy.
Social work and social policy
Social policy, social work and education cross-disciplinary research, aims to transform global and local knowledge, policy and professional practice through theoretical, applied and practice-based research.
