IT Project Management

The Digital Programme Management Office (DPMO) is responsible for coordinating and providing guidance on Project Management standards, best practice and the execution of a portfolio of IT related projects across the university.

Project management is a carefully planned and organised effort to accomplish a successful project. A project is a one-time effort that produces a specific result for the benefit of the university.

  • Managing projects and contributing to other projects such as facilitating workshops on a number of best practice areas, information exchange an networking between projects.
  • Provides templates, guidelines and promotes a consistent approach for projects.
  • To act as a sounding board for project challenges and advise on ways in which they may be overcome them.
  • Strategic planning and project support services - knowing about projects, monitoring them and servicing the IT Project Board.
  • DPMO ensures projects are aligned with the University of Greenwich Strategic plan.

    09.00 - 17.00 weekdays other than university and Bank Holidays
