If you have applied for an education or health course that requires health clearance, you will need to complete a confidential health questionnaire. You will be sent an email regarding the health check once you have accepted an offer with us.
Education programmes
Once you have accepted your offer to study with us on an Education programme, you’ll receive an email about your occupational health check. In the email, you’ll find a link to the confidential online health questionnaire which you’ll need to complete.
Health programmes
Once you have accepted your offer to study with us on a Health programme, you will receive email instructions for the occupational health process.
The programme you will be studying determines which of the two Occupational Health departments you will be invited to complete your check with.

The process for completing the checks differs as outlined below. Full instructions will also be provided in the email you will be sent regarding the occupational health check so please read this carefully when you receive it.
Darent Valley Hospital
- You will need to complete a health questionnaire via the link in the email and scan this to the relevant email address.
- Once submitted, you will be sent an appointment via email.
The Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH)
- You will find a link to the Royal Marsden Hospital Occupational Health portal via the link in the email sent to you. Once you have registered with the portal, using the invite code provided in the guidelines you will be sent the link to the health questionnaire to complete and submit online via the portal.
- Once submitted, you will be sent an appointment via email.

Applicants who have not engaged with all the checks which apply to their course by the registration deadline will result in a compliance hold being placed on your student record. This will block your access to all computing and library services, including access to course material. This will also delay the start of your placement and have an impact on your progression on the course.
