Management and Leadership at Audencia Business School (Nantes, France) – Open to students in the Business School only.

Students in the Business School can apply to spend 4-weeks in Nantes, France studying at our partner Audencia Business School. You will develop global management skills while experiencing a French lifestyle with students from all around the world.

Dates: 

1st cohort: 19th May 2025 -  June 13th (students must arrive on the 18th May and leave on the 14th)

2nd cohort: 16th June - 11th July (students must arrive on the 18th May and leave on the 14th)

International Business, Relations and French at IDRAC Business School (Lyon, France)

Spend 4-weeks studying in Lyon at our partner IDRAC Business School to learn about French culture and language while enhancing your communication and management skills.

This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students.

Dates:

1st cohort: May 19th 2025 to June 13th 2025 (students must arrive on the 16th May and leave on the 13th)

Intercultural Communication/World of the Beer at University of New York in Prague (Prague, Czech Republic)

A 5-week programme in Prague to study Intercultural Communication to communicate across cultural and language barriers. This is a significant skill for anyone interested in a career working in an international environment or with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Or learn about the World of Beer to learn about the phenomenon of beer and the beer industry and to stipulate in what way activities related to beer and breweries could support the national economy, specifically the travel and hospitality industry.

This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students.

Dates: 05/21/2025 – 06/28/2025 (including arrival and departure day)

Academic content:

Intercultural Communication course

  • Learn how culture shapes our perception and communication behaviours
  • Learn strategies for effective cross-cultural and intercultural communication

World of the Beer course

  • Introduce the phenomenon of beer and the beer industry
  • To stipulate in what way activities related to beer and breweries could support the national economy- especially travel and hospitality industry
  • History, traditions and latest trends in the production and consumption of beer

Spanish Language and Culture, Adventure and Nature at The University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain)

Alcalingua is the centre of Alcalá University in teaching Spanish Language and Culture to foreigners. It offers summer intensive courses: one-month courses that can be freely combined, in an intensive format and perfect to learn Spanish while enjoying your holidays in Alcalá.

Our Summer Camp program at Alcalingua is perfect option for youth who wish to
continue their Spanish studies within an international environment. The program is fun and
educational which includes several leisurely sports activities. Our participants, between the ages of 61
and 18, will participate in language and culture courses in the mornings. The afternoons will be
devoted to excursions, sports activities, Workshops, parties, cultural visits and games, etc

PÉCS SUMMER SCHOOL at the University of Pecs (Pecs, Hungary)

Study the political, economic, cultural and social achievements and challenges of the European Union. You will expand your knowledge on topics such as migration, security, economic transitions, art history, gastronomy and folk traditions in Europe. The aim of the course is for students to become familiar with the leadership skills necessary to become effective and meaningful leaders. The main topics covered in the course include understanding leadership, recognizing leadership traits, developing leadership skills, creating a vision, communicating effectively, managing time, handling conflict, and overcoming obstacles. Open to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.

You can choose between  two programmes:

  1. Combined European Studies and Leadership Skills program – July 5 – August 3

The program includes two modules: European Studies and Leadership Skills.  During the European Studies course, students will study the political, economic, cultural and social achievements and challenges of the European Union, as well as expand their knowledge on topics such as the art history, gastronomy and folk traditions of Europe. They will broaden their perspectives about the contributing factors that led to contemporary Europe, including migration, cultural diversity, gender issues. The aim of the Leadership Skills course is for students to become familiar with the leadership skills necessary to become effective, purposeful and good leaders. The main topic areas include leadership styles, strategic thinking, effective communication, team building, time management, responsibility and assertiveness.

Eligible students: Undergraduate, graduateand PhD students

Credits offered: 12 ECTS credits

Program fee: 2250 EUR

  1. International Human Rights Law and Debate Academy - July 5 – August 3

The program includes two modules: International Human Rights Law and Debate Academy. The International Human Rights Law course  will address some of the most typical issues of international human rights, including the protection of human rights in armed conflicts, the accession of the EU to the European Convention on Human Rights, the right to asylum versus national security, the human rights implications of AI systems and algorithmic decision-making, etc. The Debate course will provide students with introduction to argumentation theory, rhetoric, and with practical skills-building exercises in debate and public speaking.

Eligible students: Law students

Credits offered: 11 ECTS credits

Program fee: 2500 EUR (approx. £1,856)

Program fee include: cost of instruction, accommodation in a dormitory, lunch on teaching days, dinner when evening programs are organized, sightseeing, museum visits, Intercultural Evening, Quiz Night, wine tasting program, traditional Hungarian dinner night, Hungarian folk dance class, dragonboat competition, darts contest.

Summer School at HM Munich University of Applied Sciences (Munich, Germany):  Engineering for sustainability

The summer school is a five-week program. Interna- tional students participate in an intensive German Language and Culture course in the first week and continue these studies part-time throughout the program. Munich Summer School of Applied Sciences (MSSAS) offers in-depth study of engineering and business topics, integrating green issues with a focus on sustainability. Great importance is attached to the practical application using state-of-the-art technology and teaching methods in the courses.

Dates: July 6th, 2025 - August 9th, 2025

Cost: € 1,750.00 (approx. 1450 GBP)
