Our courses

You can study for a mechanical engineering degree in a number of ways: full-time, part-time, or a sandwich course with an industry placement. We offer a four-year course which leads to a Master’s degree and an extended degree, which includes a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study.

Research and partnerships

Professor Peter Kyberd has a strong interest in the design, control and application of computer intelligence to prosthetics limbs. He is Professor of Rehabilitation Cybernetics and Head of the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Greenwich.
