Moodle is the university's online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is an environment for supporting and mediating learning activity including storing course materials, such as documents and video, assignments, feedback, wikis, and even quizzes.

  • The Moodle platform can be accessed worldwide

It provides a set of assessment tools, such as:

  • Individual and group assessment creation
  • A submissions area and notifications
  • Self-marking
  • Anonymous marking and feedback tools. These include a grade book for generating and calculating results, and 'my feedback' for recording comments.

Supports communication with students by providing:

  • On-Line Forums
  • On-Line Chat
  • Personal messaging

Eligibility

Moodle is available via the Portal, or by going to https://moodlecurrent.gre.ac.uk

The service is available to all members of university staff and students

    09.00 - 17.00 weekdays other than University and Bank Holidays
